The Mortadella Favola is a local product of excellence, winner for several years of the title "Best Mortadella in Italy" and of the five pins of the "Italian Salumi Guide" the highest awards in the sector.
It is an entirely Italian sausage, gluten-free, lactose-free, monosodium glutamate-free and polyphosphate-free, produced since 1996 by the Mec Palmieri company in San Prospero.
Its unique feature is that it is the first mortadella in the world to be stuffed and cooked in stone ovens in its natural casing.
The aroma and flavor of the product are the result of a carefully crafted recipe that includes lean cuts of Italian pork, fragrant diced guanciale, 100% natural aromas, and a touch of acacia honey.
